Of the unnamed people, I'd say Nikolai Fraiture of The Strokes is pretty overlooked. I really love his band's Nickel Eye "Time of the assassins" album, where he sings and plays guitar.

John Deacon from Queen gets some love, but, imho, not enough.

definitely have to agree with Spike, Jonesy doesn't get half of the credit he deserves. The guy plays like every instrument known to man and helped write a lot of the best Zeppelin songs. although it is true that he didn't really want to be too well known in the first place...
