what exactly would my tablet stopping at the ASUS logo loading screen go under? ... :/
so i did everything u said and it worked. after i get to the last screen where it boots everything up to set up my tablet the touch screen does not work. what do i do?

@broli720 ... I would try it again. This has worked thousands of times without flaws. If results do not change, your touch screen may have gone out... happens. Restore to stock rom and file a warranty claim.

@solenasty180 the version of the rom totally depends on what you unpack into the nvflash folder. The prime 1.4 rom is 3.1 HC based from my understanding. conversation continued in forum link found in discussion
