@JacobSheppard calypso is a part of the entropia universe yes. the same goes for ROCKtropia, Next Island, and Arkadia. but each planet has its own business, and general direction it takes so they all have their own websites and such. hope that helped

What is the difference between this and Entropia Universe? I mean a lot of stuff on the Planet Calypso site links to stuff on the Entropia site, so are they connected? Is this a smaller piece of Entropia? Anyone?

@RealityEyes01 FPC, SEE, MA... Same thing, more or less. At least MA and FPC. Same owners. And I heard about that too, many years ago. Maybe that is what is taking them so long time. But I don't think it will be in sky area, but in instanced maps, like the old robot ships. I wonder when those will come back? They were good for mining economy, and fun to do as well...

@TommyDaGreat For example, Camp Phoenix was a good sweating spot. Now it is moved and barren. Twin Peaks was full of tantardion, argonaut and tantillion and huge daikibas. The city looked different. No bridges, no mountain passes. Nymhtown was more forest-ish and the lake was nice. The oil rig got completely moved. PvP1 is no more at all, replaced with a weird PvP1 and so on. The entire world completelt changed, it didn't get remixed... They didn't even keep Hadesheim, my favourite hub and area.

@RealityEyes01 The biggest problem is that it felt like a completely new game after cryengine. The loots and so on were the same, with some systems lost, but the world looks nothing like it did before. Only vague resemblances in Ithaca or Troy, but some areas are completely unrecognizable. I have good memories in some areas, like where I got my first mining global, my first Large deposit, etc, and all of that is gone now and replaced with areas that don't even look remotely similar... :/

@RealityEyes01 The graphics are definitely more beautiful. But they don't feel as personal as before. The old Minopolis, gone. The biodomes in minopolis and atlantis, gone. The yellow walls and landing zone in atlantis, gone. Lots of memories and nostalgic places that disappeared. The graphics are really good now, but a bit more generic. But as long as the economy isnt working as well as it did in the old days, and loots are more boring, it can not be as addicting as it was before.

@RealityEyes01 So did I. Got 18.000 ped of a daikiba Prowler and was shaking for 15 minutes. But after that was when I also realized how short that sum of money can take you. I am still playing off that, and I have played since nov 2003. This was a great game from the start, then MA became greedy. I still like it sometimes when all goes good, but it was better before, and it shouldn't be marketed as a common game as all professions are gambling related.
Why is everyone seeing this as a means to make money? When I start playing, i'm going to play is as a game and have fun playing the game, if i like it I might spend money on it, if not ill leave it....Not see it as a business investment.......is there anybody else like me out there?

great . as i have been playing now for 2years. and to see Fishfaces museum in this video and a few ppl i know.
great game and unlike other MMO games. This game is the best of entertainment. Look at it this way. if you spend $20 to go to a movie for the night well you paid for the entertainment. where as $20 deposited in to this game gives you not only entertainment but last you a while if you know what to do. (^_^)
