well so far a leopard 2 is the best tank in world but it would be close if they got into a fight but it would never happen

it depends on who fires first.
looking at the laser blinders on the T 99s, it's likely that the T-99 would be the first.
The leopord's speed and manuvourity would give it a huge edge.

Nah not really, most Iraqi tanks were destroyed from the air. Tanks have no place in 21st century warfare. Air power is the way forward.

the Type 98 looks for me like a T72 with a new Turret... ive seen pictures that shows how the T72 were penetrated by some Leopard sabot projectile... the only part where it wasn´t penetrated, was the upgraded turret with sand pockets... don´t know if it was a good choice to chance the only part that resisted this ... ?!?

You are partly right, but the latest T99 is way superior to T72, with added armor, mobility, firepower, fire control, anti-air, etc... Even Leopard 2 will not be able to penetrate a T99 with a direct frontal shot.
