N&W 611 Charlotte, NC to Asheville, NC 10-24-92 Pt.1

Diesels brought the train from Charlotte to Salisbury, NC where 611 took charge.

1) Salisbury Depot
2) Dirt road crossing West of Salisbury
3) Catawba River bridge.
4) Statesville, NC

i rode the 611 on saluda grade on oct 23 1994 it was a great ride to see and heard the only j class in the world vs saluda mountain god bless the people who save the 611 from the torch in1950's
