  • my husband is telling about a movie that a firefighter talkswith his dead father through a radio. Is this the one? I'm really tired of looking for it, but i'm very curious about the movie.

  • it was alright. i just wish deniros role was bigger. Ladder 49 was better in my opinion

  • t's awesome

  • @cherryemel no it isn't the same one but this one is very good

  • the movie is better than the trailer you don't really get a feel for what the movie is about based on the trailer

  • @Zooroonies

It's the theme from the "Glory" movie.

  • @ersatzelvis I guess it was more obvious to me when it was scenes from a movie I really like being combined with a score from another movie I really like.

  • @rwargo24 Fairly standard practice. There's about 20 different themes that end up being used for almost all film soundtracks. There's a piece by Randy Edelman from the film 'Come See the Paradise" that's probably been used 40 or 50 times. Ironically, songs from the Backdraft soundtrack (written by Hans Zimmer) have also been used on other film trailers.

  • Anyone else catch that they didn't use music from the movie itself, but stole it from Glory?

  • Sapiens discovery fires, dramatic climax increasing, heats intense danger, dangers intense heating, increases climaxes dramatic, fire discovering sapiens !

  • Kurt Russell's greatest performance. I think he was born to do this movie.
