    Mr Tomwati.

  • I love this song! I grew up listening to his songs. I have some on cd.

  • Addit: He is singing in IKiribati language. I know coz I'm Fijian born too but of Kiribati background.. both my parents immigrated to Fiji some years ago. I now live in Australia.

  • I love his songs too...I remember meeting him in person in Fiji. I even bought a few casette tapes which is now antique and no longer exist. Bata Pita is of Banaban background (Ocean Island or Banaba) in Kiribati. Most of the islanders were relocated to an island in Fiji called Rabi after their island became inhabitable due to phosphate mining by the British - during the Colonial period.
