@gg454lune if you've ever seen the show Lea almost cries every time she sings a ballad solo. I just feel that it would have come across better if it had just been Idina, because of the storyline it was backing.

@draimanfan1984 Because she played the mother whose the dream was destroyed. But the parts sung only by Lea were so emotional! She seemed to cry while singing! It nearly broke my heart. Great performing of this song!

This couldn't fit more me and my gf, and our relationship...
I still dream she will come to me,... and make our silly dreams come true but she lives houndreds miles away.... :'(

part of me wishes they would have let idina menzel sing it solo. don't get me wrong, i love lea, i just thought that idina gave the better performance and it would have been more emotional to have her sing it alone.

there both amazing. i have no idea why people are comparing them to Susan Boyle? She has a completly different voice to these two? Both amazing though<3

@AGpixar2000 It's not a play, it's a musical. But I agree, Susan Boyle sings it better purely because she can sing it with emotion. Lea and Idina sing it well, but it will never be fantastic because they're merely just singing it. They're suppose to be showing the thoughts of a poverty stricken woman whose lost everything. I just don't see it with them.

@MsSpainwinners I'd have to disagree with you. While I think Lea did a good job, Susan's version had more depth to it. It just packed a bigger punch.
