ps3 startup error freezing

gutted!! if sony just fuckin spent a little more time on the fuckin cooling system and solder !!!!! raaaaa so aye the hair dryer only give u a few hours BUT if u can get the thermal compound n follow the vids on here u'll be sorted ...

/watch?v=4_Ic1_TY-GU&feature=r­elated is the first one with the heat gun its in 2 parts and this one is the oven one in 6 parts /watch?v=NNS1yBBcqBU thats the last part just look on the side for the 1st part .. lot of ppl got wot happened to u n me but didnt know wot was wrong, lol i found out its the ylod same prob with the chips the solder has cracked meanin the conection to the board isnt rite hope it helps man

hey mines done the same a few days ago i found a fix urs done the same as mines. get a hair dryer lol am not takin the piss honestly it works . get the hair dryer side to side motion on full heat for 15min in the back vents, let it cool completely foi r 20 or mins i put mines outside lol and it should work donno how long for tho mines seems to still be working dood

Ok i had the same problem and i fixed by doing the following...

1. Hold the power button and dont let go until it turns off ..

2. After it turns off Hold the button again and after 5 seconds you will hear a beep .. then you will hear 2 beeps. After this occurs imediately release your finger from the power button and it will lead you to some menu.

3. In the menu you will need to click "Restore Ps3 System" something like that.. it will delete all your data but its worth it. Good luck

that happens to me but just after it says PS3 it doesnt show me my users but it also doesnt freeze its just keeps showing th ' ORIGINAL '' theme HELP !!!
