Sammy Torres~Salsariba (Spanish version)

Sammy is currently working on his new album which combines Jazz and different sound flavors from around the world.

Salsariba's new cd titled "Ten Fe" which means "Have Faith" will be released in 2010. It contains his well loved styles as well as the Jazz piece "Salsariba Jazz" and many other original songs too.

Salsariba, founded in 2004 by singer-song writer Sammy Torres, Salsariba is an experienced all-star group of locally based artists bringing exciting dance beats to salsa music.

Sammy, who grew up surrounded by Salsa and other Latin Rhythms in Peru, learned to sing from his mother. A former Bolero singer, she lit the flame for the fire of passion that Sammy has for music. Sammy began performing professionally in New York and has been at it ever since.

While in New York Sammy worked with artists such as Julio Barreto. He played with bands Combo Ocho and Chimpum York, as well as being the founder of Los Peloteros del Swing.
