German Shepherd Callie tracking AKC Certification 03-26-2011

Callie is a 10 mth old FEMALE German Shepherd from Eichenluft Kennels (PA). Her mom is Patty and she is training her for tracking / trailing search and rescue (SAR) work with the Working K9 Association of Central PA (WKACP). Patty also wants to enter Callie in AKC tracking events so this is video footage from 03-26-2011 when they were certified on land owned by Penn State University - Ag Progress.

Before the end of the day Patty registered Callie in her first AKC Tracking Dog (TD) which is two weeks away. There is a lottery. Keep your fingers crossed that they get in:) Great work Callie and Patty!! You two worked hard, but we are having lots of fun. That's what its all about!

PS: Patty - sorry for calling Ms. K9 Callie a "he" in my commentary. My shepherds are an "all boys" club and it is hard to get it straight sometimes:)
