  • No one else could ever make that pick slide sound like the aftermath of thunder. Amazing. '74 I was lent "Rides Again" and the rest you probably know. God it took me a year to find "Thirds" but I did.

Brilliant influence and thanks Joe for bringing your magic into my world through your music. One of the real greats. Pete

  • This was the b-side to the Life's Been Good single, talk about a quality flip side, their can't be many better than this in the history of rock music. Still gives me the chills now thirty years on.

  • Joe is also a HAM so he understands electronics better than m

ost muscians, Add to that his obvious appreciation for well blended sonics and you have some of the best rock ever.

  • it sounds to me that joe used a strat on much of this album this album is one of my faves i can remember this song playing over and over in my head during double sessions football practice williamsville east h.s 1978

  • This is better than todays music, what the hell happened!

  • Joe Walsh was an amazing influence on my music career! no doubt about that! But you know what? John Lennon had Paul McCartney, David Bowie had Mick Ronson and Joe Walsh had Joe Vitale. Fantastic drummer/ flautist whose contributions to the Walsh albums were something pretty special, which greatly enhanced each track. And as for my favorite Walsh albums. Gotta be "Smoker you drink" with "So what" hot on its heels.

  • JOE WALSH...A FUCKIN GENIUS !! can you argue ?

  • Just beautiful!!!!!

  • always my floating downsteam innertube fantasy.....oh and don't forget the pretty girl who shows up
