Uncle Jee,
The emphasis in Khursheed Anwar's compositions was always on melody and purity of raags. His orchestration was not just to embellish a song but to heighten the impact of his tunes and to highlight the emotions expressed in the lyrics. In some of his wistful numbers, his sailing flutes in the foreground and violins in the background convey to the listener the true feeling of a broken heart.
Thank you uncle for sending it to my way and thanks Old HMFan for uploading it.

Roshan was an assistant to Kh Sahib in so many fims, this is why he used this tune perhaps as a right. Kh Sahib too repeated this tune in ?" Mein to kar kar binti haar gayi " ( Chingari )

Roshan used this tune as :
dil tujhe diya tha rakhne ko
tu ne dil ko jala ke rakh diya/ Mukesh in film
Malhar(1951).
That is a great observation. Thanks for your comment.
