  • This episode still blows my mind. I legitimately cannot think about it. I can't think that there's even a possibility that vampire slayers aren't real.

  • I think Brain Drain (Charmed) and Normal Again (Buffy) are stories from completely different shows. It's true that the storyline of each episode is similar, I agree, but Brain Drain was release on November 2001 and Normal Again was on March 2002. I love Buffy but we must to realize who did show this idea at first. Anyway, I think it doesn't matter who wrote it first, because both are great episodes, and they will use this idea again in another show because that's how TV works. Recycling.

  • They just this idea also in an episode of Supernatural where Dean and Sam weren't hunters en there mother and Sam's girlfriend were still alive.

Sam and Dean weren't friends and the people they saved were actually dead because they weren't hunters. Al this happen't because Dean was captured by a Demon and was in a dream world, Love The Buffy episode and haven't seen the Charmed episode yet.

  • Its strange seeing Buffy in a asylum :/

  • I havent seen this episode yet but i read it up on wikipedia and i had to read it twice as it was so confusing, im looking foward to seeing this episode!

  • I cant deal with the possibility that the show takes place in her head. So lets just say the end was just the hallucinogen leaving her system, kthxbye

  • The 2003 Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic book Slayer, Interrupted

(based of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer 6th Season episode normal again) picks up where Viva Las Buffy (published in 2002) and The Origin (published in 1999) left off and right before A Stake to the Heart (published in 2004) which takes place in the summer of 1996 prior to the events in Welcome to the Hellmouth and buffy was sent to the mental institution before she moved to sunnydale

  • One of the best buffy episodes !

  • My favourite episode of this season.

  • @dagnyjetties yeah maybe...but they can't make a totally same episode...they had to change it a lil bit...and buffy gave it it's own twist...but the idea is the same...all in all both are great episodes...especially the buffy one...the ending is just mindblowing...really good episode...

  • @lukarekalic I've seen the episodes from both show. I was just confused as to the the different writers. I disagree that the episodes are the same. I think one of the most poignant differences between these episodes is the lack of resolution regarding the validity of Buffy's hallucinations, where as the viewers of Charmed are given no room for doubt that Pipe'sr mind was being controlled. This makes them completely different in my mind.
