The Silent House (Teaser trailer HD English)

Based on an real event that took place in 1944 in an old farmhouse where were found two brutally tortured bodies, without their tongues. Disturbing photographs were the key to solving the bloody crime. The film has a couple of features that make it unique in the market. It has been entirely shot with a digital SLR, specifically with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, what makes "La Casa Muda" the first Latin American film and the second film in the world recorded with a photo camera. Another particular feature is that the story is told in a single 74 minute sequence shot, with no cuts.

If this was shot on the Canon 5d, how was this done technically? You cannot record in HD for a constant 74 minutes. The camera only records up to 10 minutes or 4G per continuous shot.

with a feed to a laptop? i'm not sure as i don't own the camera but there are ways to bypass such limitations with technical nous i'm sure

They cheated, they stitched together the cut to make is a seamless one take.

Ayer vi la pelicula y la verdad me sorprendio. 1+ para el cine Uruguayo. Nuestra unica duda quedo en dos partes en las que aparece una persona de fondo y no sabemos si era asi o fueron errores de la pelicula
