Awesome video! Just a couple of questions... How long was the house burning before the fire department got there? Did anyone live in the house? Do you know how it started? Where is Burnaby?

Well I saw it about 2 Minutes before Fire got the call... And about 2 more minutes for them to arrive. The House was Abandoned so nobody lived in it. You can find Burnaby on a map.

Most of the fire departments dont just respond to fires. They also respond to medical emergencies, alarms calls, Motor vehicle Accidents and Public Assist calls. In some of the busier stations the firefighters barely have time to sleep because they are constantly responding to calls.

In response to some of these questions this house was abandoned, so the fire has to grow large before a passer by will notice. Which means it's probably fully involved. Dispatch takes the call then relays the call tyo the fire dept. then we have to drive there while avoiding all the people who are driving while texting or don't want to get out of the way because it's not them so it's not important. Finally lay house get water supply then fight the fire. Did i forget anything?

@memphise34a they were assessing the scene and then securing the perimiter whats the point putting the house out if the fields and/or the next house catches? Its sensiable tacticts and these firefighters do a great job working hard and risking thier lives daily - dont critasise something you dont know know enough about.

As with most fire vids, a few wannabe chiefs have real value to offer. One dork wants lines charged before they're stretched and another one wants everyone running around like chickens with their headss cut off. Great advice Gomers. Keep up the good work! Hey look guys...the house is on fire. Think we oughta put some water on it. No, lets form a huddle and talk about it a few minutes. Then we can stretch a bunch of hose before we charge any of them and lets make sure you put the grass out first.

Just have some answers for some of you guys.

A. The fire was burning from the time it started till the time FD showed and put it out.

A. If someone lived there they don't now.

A. It started like all other fires, Heat, Fuel and O2
