While always precise and exacting with their spectacular pairs skating, this great Russian team sometimes lacked in artistic expression. Not so here in this touching and emotionally moving exhibition piece. Ever more poignant, now knowing how little time remained for Sergei in this material plane we call Earth.

What is the name of the music they are dancing to? I recognise it but cannot place it...

It strikes me as Debussey, I think, Afternoon of the Faun! Janet Lynn was famous for a program to this as well...as was John Curry......I guess we need a dance champ to visit it and we will have a complete set!!!....lol........best wishes
