(Ps2) NCAA 07 Football (FSU vs UF)

1st quarter gameplay of one of my favorite football games. Very well done game with a lot of content, all colleges, championship year school teams, old school 5o's teams with no face masks on helmets, mascot teams to play as, other stuff and just a good game. I like the look and gameplay flow. Not my best game play performance though. Could of juked here and there and watched the routes better.
This guy runs a lot better than I ever could.

can you create a player?

@kisean4123 Yes, you get the option to go through college, take courses, practice, etc... There are some fun tests to take as well. You get a college dorm room with a few options for its design. A real full on game. You can make custom playbooks not sure if you can create custom plays though.

@Slim556Kirbi You tell them what to do by pressing the right analog thumb stick up, down, left, etc. Pressing up sends them running down field, down they go to the line so you can make a new set of downs, and diagonal sends them sideways across the field. You can use mulitple hot routes, cross and to line. You tell players to hang back and protect your QB and or block for you running. Just spend a day with it, cause all NCAA, NFL games work on the same set of pre-play and hot routes etc...

@Slim556Kirbi L2 or R2 brings up the overhead view to see where all the players are going. So you can see what you are telling them to do. So try sending a player up field, check it, then tell him to come back. Once you master that the rest is easy. In options menu you can set the pre-play playbook plays, so if you wanna run, you don't have to use the default teams playbook run, you can use your own option, about 5 I think. Make all of them runs or all 1 play if you don't want to search it.

@Slim556Kirbi Press X to hurry out of the huddle, and another button throws the ball out of bounds or to the ground. Really just study the control menu in practice. You can scrimmage a team and only be the offense, when it is time to switch to defense, just select to use the other team (team controller select in options) and you will be the offense now of the other team. All just run a skeleton practice instead of scrimmage. Select a team field though, the practice field don't allow overhead

Wow, been a while. The controls should be listed in the options menu. This game can get pretty intensive with the controls, as you can change defense, offense, hot route players to run differently. OK. I will tell how to do that. Select some button, X or O pre-snap with all players at the line. Hit - turn off the game clock and try it in practice mode. Select x or o to cycle players, get 1 outside runner, select x or o again to highlight him and you get to either send him up, side, etc..
