Pet Rat Eating Whole Wheat Cracker

One of our 4 rats who likes to eat upside down. She becomes numb to the outside world when she eats, apparently. The only issue with eating upside down is that you get crumbs all over your face.
Most of you guys watching this are already rat owners I am guessing, but those who are not should consider them They make really good pets. Enjoy

hi, i just thought you should know that some guy took the footage of your rat eating cracker vid and used it in a video where his snapping turtle is ripping live rats to shreds.

it won't let me post the link so do a search for: "Snapping Turtle vs Rats (Graphic)". it will be the first link at the top. about 10 seconds in you will see your rat eating the cracker. it's a very graffic and gory vid and i'm almost sure that it will disgust you.

hey i was wondering: do you really need to rat-proof your room to let them free roam? I have lots of cables here, will my future pet rat gnaw the cables??

@MrKayetanBucker Haha, well, no... yes... no... um. hmm. They do and they don't. I have spliced together some wires that they decided to go after but it doesn't happen often. They ran around the room probably once a day or so for 2 years and only lost a wire or two. The effort of rat proofing is probably more than just replacing what they occasionally destroy. Believe me, they are usually more interested in empty bags and trash cans lol
