  • hey i wanted to ask you whats the diffrent between lionel PWC series and lionel Conventional Classics? i like them they share alot of what i love of the postwar era lionel but with a hint of modern tec when you get a chance explane the diffrents for the two thanks budd and merry christmas iv be adding some sets in my collction after the hoildays are over my new place is going to take at lease another 6 months longer to get into so i may just try make a small layout here i tired of waiting

  • @grizzleybearz282004 - the pwc series has modern stuff in the engines like command control & railsounds. Also, most of the cars come with newer type spring trucks. The conventional classics engines are just that - conventional only. No sound except for a horn/bell. The cars all have the correct pw style bar end & AAR type trucks

  • @lorimersnd ok thanks so the conventional classics would be more to want because i dont have any tmcc but lets say i seen a pwc set or engine i want i can still run it was tmcc mode right and just my modern or postwar transfomers right my buddy in town just got back home and one of the engines he got is a pwc 746 from the remake of my postwar n&w j class space set and iv wanted a pwc 746 but was woundering if i needed the remote tmcc to run it i was going to make a 746 passenger set out of it

  • @grizzleybearz282004 - Yeah, you can run the PWC stuff in conventional mode no problem. You just won't be able to access all the features like the elctro-couplers & the crew talk. The CP passenger set, Wabash Freight Set & the Berkshire Freight set in my videos are PWC sets, but they are running conventional

  • Excellent video if a beautiful layout!!

  • @mlavender480 - Thanks!

  • @2344F3 - I bought them. Aurora FX makes them. Y ou can find them in the racing section of a hobby shop, or on ebay. They come bright orange, so I have to paint them before using.

  • nice job on the scenery to compliment the excellent motive power and consists. how did you make the guard rails for the highways?

  • @Southerntreatment - lol :) Thanks!

  • Awesome video man!! I agree with you!! Williams makes very good engines! They are like a clock, they just keep on ticking!! I like your layout a lot!!
