This has nothing to do with aging. This is DISEASE. This is neglect. An aging bird does not lose its feathers or go "bald" like an old human losing hair. An aging bird does not experience its beak ROTTING away! People that say he is like this because he is old are just anthropomorphizing the situation and are in denial that there is serious disease and suffering happening to this poor bird. He is NOT A PERSON and he NOT" licking his mouth like people do". Saying he is 90 is a lie and a diversion

He's a sweet old man licking at his mouth as old people do. He has a full crop the fresh open air breeze on his face. You've been informed he is 90 years old! Have some respect for the person showing him to you or don't look. If he had Beak & feather disease he would have yellow crusts all over from the infected feather follicles. His beak like his feathers lacks regrowth so will wear away but he's hand fed. Believe me if a bird is unhappy it will stop accepting food & die within 2 or 3 days.
