This video is clearly a representation of the london you dont see on tv. Its not about glamourising poverty or "grimey" societys, its about opening peoples eyes to the fact that its not west end shows and £1000 bottles of champagne. It is tough, intimidating and oppressive living in a estate that those. Its easy to be ignorant but not so easy to be empathatic.

When the London riots occurred, I was in Uganda and had been there for the past year, so had some very close friends. They were shocked at what Britains were doing, assuming we were all millionaires. I tried my best to graphically explain the day to day life of many Londoners, the lifestyle, the accomodation, the police treatment. I just wish I had videos like these to show them, so they can know how many really live. How can one of the richest countries in the world subject citizens to this?
