@vokshumana Yes, but is he rated as a painter? No. When have you ever heard anybody sing praises for Andy's painting ability? I actually think most people would be surprised that he was an illustrator before he did pop art, or that he was able to draw at all.

In my opinion Zdzisław Beksiński was a much better artist then Andy, just not as accessible. Zdzisław Beksiński was an artist, Andy was a popstar

@Blavat666 I wonder. If you might be an artist? Andy Warhol is a god. Andy Warhol is the least artistic artist - yet the most amazing artist. Andy is a God. He is God. He IS God. Last time I checked... my excretions were not quite as colorful as Warhol's pieces.....

@Dltn97 Because some people talks about his technique as is if it amazing. but when talking technique there's lot of people who are better, but that dosen't matter because that is not what A.W. is about.

The nicest thing we can say about Andy is that there's a lot we don't know about him, that there's no smoking-gun evidence that he was a monster.

I think whoever made this doc was a little confused or didn't know much about Candy Darling..Using all of Jeremiah's childhood pictures while "Candy Says" is playing, as if they are childhood photos of Candy. And then in part two when "Walk on the Wild Side" is played, they used the verse "Holly came from Miami FLA" instead of "Candy came from out on the island".
