I don't wait the glue to become tacky I use a hair dryer , it makes the job much faster

Is there anything else apart from the contact glue that i could use? would super glue be sufficient? (This is relating back to Episode 3) Thanks

@SianoPiano74 You can use hotglue. I wouldn't use superglue- not only would it be expensive but you wouldn't want to glue your hand to a puppet head LOL

@xhandbasketx Rubber cement is used for a variety of applications, a number of which are temporary, it behaves as though it is a liquid rubber, it will stretch, remains flexible and is water resistant.
contact cement is usually permanent. You apply a thin coat of the adhesive to both surfaces to be bonded. let it dry to the touch, then position the two pieces, usually with separation sticks placed between the two, when they touch they stick, that's it. They are relatively the same.
