If I just said, "I'm a girl and I can't do that"- or "I can't do that as well" I would have nothing to work towards. And it is not like there ever are a lot of women in skateboarding and snowboarding to look up to- so guess who's photo is up on my wall, guess who I'm riding with, guess who is in the video that I am watching? Then you say I got no chance huh? If I think that I'm done to begin with and might as well start working out with the girls at the gym doing Zumba...

They told me I could have my pick of positions, but I was bored stiff playing with the girls and quit. Don't learn much when everyone just says "good catch", "good swing". Playing with the boys and being average made me a better player- always having some higher goal to reach. Sometimes it is better not to be the star. So whatever. I enjoy being average as long as I can continue to be better than myself.
