Your number appear correct. Now consider why the debts exists. Bush took surpluses to deficits by inventing 2 wars and cutting taxes without cause. None of his debt needed to happen.

Obama inherited a severe recession and 2 wars. He also inherited the stimulus bill that Bush signed. And the deficits have mostly increased due to reduced tax revenue, not increased spending.

So it's a bit silly to give Bush a pass and blame Obama.

@StoogeWatcher So that I can properly answer your question which controversy with the Marines are you referring to and what did the Dems do? Was it the time when some Marines raped a few Iraqi girls and then killed them or the other time when some other Marines slaughted a bunch of iraqis?

The thing about Yale: Former deputy foreign secretary for the Taleban govt was accepted into the private schools student body... honestly who cares. They are private. I am sure they got money for it though.
