alright, call me a complete idiot--go ahead, i deserve it! but thruout me watching that last scene during rabid (i admit, i watch it AT LEAST 3x a day!!!) i didn't understand the whole him stopping her punch. it was like, "Well cute staring moment" but i ddnt c y the director made it be so impt. But now that i've seen your video, i get it! he stops her because the whole "buddies" does not apply to EITHER of them anymore. that is OUT the door. no more punching. thanx & sorry 4 my stupidity. :D

LOVE those self-defensive arm-punches of Lois's,and Clark's reactions to them are priceless! It took him a bit to figure out just what they were about, and then he let her have them cuz he needed them, too, until Rabid. Then you can practically hear them screaming the subtext as he catches her arm and stops her: Hey! You don't want to go back, right? *Right, I don't.* So we're not going back. Right? *Right.* "Keep the mystery." Best thing she could ever say right then! I LOVE his smile there!

Everytime she started to have romantic feelings for him she would punch him in the arm, and he would let her because he didn't want to have those kind of feelings either. It's the "we're just friends" punch. He no longer views her as just a friend, so that's why he stopped it. I think the scene was amazing.

I forgot about all the times she punched him. I do remember how they used to annoy eachother in that playful way and now look where they are.

I love the evolution of their relationship. Great work on showing their earlier scenes together to the more recent scenes.
