God bless you scooter! RIP all yankees go to heaven

I'll never forget sitting in the beachers near the front row with 3 friends of mine in the 76 playoff game 5. I'm sure every Yankee fan knows how that one turned out. I remember the whole crowd chanting Brett Sucks, and then one guy would say my "bleep".

@11thedog11: Tribute music is from Dances w/Wolves, composed by John Barry.

Beautiful Tribute to The Scooter

Phil Rizzuto the LEGEND that survived until OUR GENERATION.
To listen to him EVERY NIGHT, along with Bill White, and Frank Messer was the best of all time.
Rizzutto & White, Abbot & Costello, George & Gracie, Laurel & Hardy, Bread & Butter. Americana at its very finest.

The name of the Sheppard/Layton
impersonator is Chris Pavio. Eddie Layton
used to invite him into his booth during
games. I told him that Eddie should have picked him as the new organist when Eddie Retired. Chris said he wouldnt want the job because he doesnt play that well. Could have fooled me ! He plays very well. I miss the old days too, not that its bad now but I do miss the old days
with Rizzuto, Messer, And Bill White,
Murcer, And of course Sheppard and Layton.
nobody does it like yankee fans!
