Envy's 2005 Dodge Stratus R/T with the new intake and exhaust

This video was taken after we installed the Cold Air Intake and had the Flowmaster exhaust put on AllEnvy's 2005 Dodge Stratus R/T. Those two items make quite a bit of difference in both the sound and performance of the car. According to Envy, the motor is the same motor from the Mitsubishi 3000GT as well as the 3.0 V6 third generation Mitsubishi Eclipses.

@YMPVT As far as engine stuff goes, it has the same engine as the 3g Mitsubishi Eclipse. So all the engine performance parts that are made for that engine will work on the Stratus R/T as well. But some things, like exhaust and all, have to be custom made.

The exhaust was just a Flowmaster muffler with custom 2.5" piping done at a local shop. Nothing special.

it's not a "3000 GT" it's the same as an Eclipse GT. same motor and interior. i have a 2000 Eclipse GT and my friend has a 2001 Stratus RT exactly the same other than exterior

Yea, I know. We were just going by what the mechanic had told us. He had just gotten the car. We did our own research later and found out it was just an Eclipse in Dodge clothing.

Update just by chance if ya didn't already know.. That's an eclipse. Um. Only close to the 3000gt by the sohc 3.0 v6 that's in it. But still at that, that engine is let say reversed. So more importantly that's a 3G eclipse. I'm a 3000gt fanatic and that comment made on that comparison... Oh my (I have something in my eye) it hurt man... It really Hurt... How could you say such a mean thing about 3000gts.... What did they do to you.. By the way. Clean ass

nice car man, i have an 03 RT and i was gona make myself a custom dual set up with the tips coming out the side infront of the rear tires =] , also i was gona build a custom turbo set up =] havent done anything yet tho, haha

Sounds exactly like my car :) Haha, mine's on 02 though. I've got the cold air intake, and the after market exhaust, I'm going to be putting dual borla exhausts on it. Awesome! haha.
