I saw Bruce in Austin many times, but one night he played "Sandy" and Bruce had this spotlight shining down from above him, and they had one on Danny as he played the accordion. It was beautiful because they painted a picture of being at the Jersey shore with the sound and you could hear the gulls circling overhead and smell the saltwater taffy and feel the ocean breeze. Danny was a tremendously talented musician and an important part of the E Street Band. God Bless you Danny. I miss you.
r.i.p danny federrici, it's sad that i never really listened to bruce when danny was still alive, but i know from the sound from live concerts and the albums how great he was, and one of bruces long time friends
thanks for being an important part of our lives Phantom Danny ..now your music is for the angels

Great. Great shots of him playing Hammond, Celeste, and synth keyboards.
