I'm aware that the idea of rationality is conveyed through language. I still believe that logic can be used for rational thought and that the application of rationality, especially in criticizing empirical science, is important for progress and the good of humanity. IMO, DXM, LSD, mescaline's "insights" may have good or bad effects.

@jartero80 Saying that DXM puts your brain in a "mode of discovery" is easily one of the stupidest things I've ever hear. Certainly DXM can cause you to have a whole bunch of experiences that are far outside the realm of "normal" for humans, thus you can claim to be "discovering" altered states, but to say it puts your brain in a mode of discovery is idiotic. DXM can make it very hard to learn, to do simple calculations and think logically.

Try reading a research article on DXM.

Triple Cs" contain dextromethorphan HBr and chlorpheniramine maleate. Delsym contains DXM polistirex. When extracting from Delsym, you get DXM salt, depending on which acid you use but you don't get any chlorpheniramine.

You claim you're satisfied by a "2P" but you refer to 60 - 65 CCCs, which would be 1800 - 1950 mg of DXM.

Are you even aware that CCCs contain chlorpheniramine which inhibits DXM metabolism?

@jartero80 "it can help you discover unexplored thoughts deep" I think I have a better explanation: it changes the way you think, thus producing those thoughts. Saying that those thoughts were discovered is not only nonsense, it also misses an important question: when those thoughts are subject to skeptical inquiry, are they sensible? Write down or record most of your thoughts from any drug trip and the next day you'll find that most can easily be dismissed and the rest are metaphysical.
