So, what is your suggestion that workers should participate as civil disobedience? Isn't the sit-in on -on the streets or like bikers' critical mass a civil disobedience too? thanks again. -rymchu

Look at the FOX NEWS coverage of the anti-war protests in San Francisco. There were many respectable protesters, but FOX only chose to show footage of the disruptive traffic-blocking protesters. FOX NEWS has a pro-war slant. We agree on that, right? Isn't it obvious that the street-sitters are unwitting pawns of the opposition?
Please, sir. Look into what I'm saying. I'm not here to troll. I'm trying to explain how we're being manipulated. I want the protest movement to be effective.

I know what civil disobedience is, and this is NOT it. I'm sorry. That's civil disruption. Breaking an arbitrary law in opposition to a specific law only breeds contempt.
Street-sitting solves about as many problems, and fortifies your credibility about as well as hostage-taking does.
Street-sitting was pioneered by Howard Zinn. If you'll look at Zinn's record, you will see that he has never been successful, yet the establishment promotes him as a "leader".
Ask yourself "why".

All I know is that today, my paycheck reflected a 20% wage increase because of what the unions have fought for. I'm personally floored, and grateful for those who dared to take a stand.

Civil disobedience is what Rosa Parks did, when she refused to abide by an unjust law. How is sitting in the street "civil disobedience"? Are they protesting an unjust traffic law???
