More first impressions: http://t.co/qEnsvF1z

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 just may be the best of all worlds: the screen is big enough to provide a lot of screen real estate for apps, but it's small enough to allow comfortable typing in portrait, but portability that you cannot get with a larger tablet. Inside there is a 1.4GHz dual-core Exynos CPU with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. The screen is Super AMOLED Plus, the first of its kind (in this size) and is 1280x800 resolution, making for a 200ppi resolution. It comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb but will be upgradable to Android 4.0 in the coming months.

  • @souni97 where did you purchase it?

  • I think the 7.7 is just the right size and has an amazing screen. However I would just like to ask since the Ipad3 is coming. With the rumored/announced specs so far for the ipad3, compared with the 7.7, should I wait for the ipad3? or is the 7.7 close enough in terms of processing speed and features? (considering other than the apps of apple of course which are of relatively higher quality)

  • Though i am planning on getting one, i wouldnt call that "super smooth"...

  • Samsung galaxy tablet 10.1 or ipad2???please help!!D:

  • i got my tab 7.7 3g 16 gb same day u got urs jan 20 :-)

  • @Fletcherismine the only thing that i personally love about the ipad and iphone is the app choice other than that nothing much else.

  • @khushalkhan7 u must be talking about the older galaxy s 2 from att, tmobile's version is 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3

  • I'm really interested in this tablet mostly because of the Super AMOLED Plus display! That must look gorgeous of course i can't see the full resolution through camera.
