This summer I hopped on a motorcycle and toured BC, the Yukon and Alaska. Midway, I flew to see my brother in Inuvik, Northwest Territories where we took a boat up to the Beaufort Sea to visit an Inuvialuit (Eskimo) summer hunting camp.

I ended up ferrying back from Alaska to Prince Rupert, BC, then down to Port Hardy.

At the end of the summer I visited my family in Ontario where my other brother and his wife were having a baby :)

  • I hear you. But they don't have any money.

  • Great videography. But why do all the homes up in that area, like the ones in northern Alaska all look like shacks even though they might be nice inside?

  • At the end of the video that is an eskimo summer hunting camp that we visited. All of the buildings were made by hand and must survive the harsh winter. This was on the very top of north america.

  • Being from Inuvik and also being Inuvialuit, I must applaud your use of our proper name. Thanks for the visit!

  • I would think buildings much like ones in cities would hold up better to harsher winters.
