I remember Bragg walking down Chiswick High Street about 18 years ago, talking to himself - pretending to be crazy so no one would approach him. LOL! He's no more a 'commie' than George Bush. If he HATED Laura Nyro, he couldn't have done a worse version.

Very nicely said, in both your entries here. I love everything about this particular posting, Bragg, his post-election optimism, and especially that it was realized, that night I held my breath,hope for a de-railing of the antiAmericanism that took hold the world over in his 8 failed years. And of course, Laura N.
Just 2 points: do you really give them the credit to think Bush&co allowed bin-L to escape? Also, fascism is always from the right; leftist&communist dictatorships are from the left!

Evil? Lying to the American people is evil. Torture is evil. Black sites are evil. Pretending there are no casualties in Iraq is evil ( the media blackout). Attacking a country with no WMDs and no capability of attacking us is evil. Drawing terrorists to Iraq because we have made our army a sitting duck is evil. Allowing Bin Laden to escape is evil. Halliburton profits on the back of American dead is evil. Subverting the Constitution over and over and over is evil. Shame on you.

Another Torturer for America. After eight years of incompetence and all-out assault on the Constitution, and on our traditional freedoms, it WAS time for a change. The things that have always made us great were being lost, the things that set us apart from the rest of the world were being discarded. Fascism is mostly from the Right, if you know any history. I'm tired of you folks whining because after almost destroying America, you lost an election. Grow up. Get some perspective.
