  • I'd rather be homeless in central Oregon than central Montana (i.e -40f winters).

  • I just lived 3 months in Deschutes forest around La Pine. A true woodsman is at home in the forest.

    thenorthernsurvivalist

  • We were tying to do a Photography Project On & For the Homeless but The City of Bend, Shepherds House and Bend Community Center didnt want anything to do with it!

Neighbor Impact are nothing but Liars & Thieves!

    Great Advertisment though!

  • @420witchdoctor i seen it,, i spoke to somone in texas the lady said he was a stoke broker made money like all hell and now he is sitting in that same sheleter i was in,,people dont know how easey it is to be homless and then after your homless its whole new life of street life,im moving into the woods soon becasue of that

  • @astaroth333777 That would really suck hard.

  • I respect Vets but going by Spudgurius83's comment, I don't understand how invading and killing people in 3rd world nations equals freedom in America. We're free because we choose to be. All war does is take more and more money from the people of this nation and destroy the lives of people in the nations we invade, which would never have the means to invade our country in the first place.

  • Does Bend have a Vets Stand down? That's a good resource that reaches allot of vets. I am a Viet Nam vet and have found the Stand Downs to be of great help to homeless vets. Thank you City of Bend Oregon

  • Vets demand respect and need to be able to get the services they deserve. If it weren't for them no one in this country would have freedom.

  • I like living outside n dumpster diving yet thats partly as I lack social abilities

I am a vegetarian on those rare occassions when I specify what I eat

    peace be with you

an optimum way to give to street people is to place food plus garments Outside the food bank The food bank staff sometimes have gang affiliation then drive away street people who are opposed to gangs also 3 food items per month if absent ID makes the wacky homeless find different opportunities than social services
