So, we come to the final boss, Dark Demon. Don't expect an easy fight here. He has a variety of attacks at his disposal. You can pre-empt what his attacks by looking at the colour of the orb he's holding. Here's what attacks he does depending on the colour:

Orange - He'll summon a cieling with gaps in the bottom of it, to crush you.

Pink - A large amount of either flying or hopping enemies will appear, and will try to charge at you.

Green - Enemies will fly from the bottom of the screen in a line.

Blue - An electric barrier will appear and will shoot out balls of energy along the ground.

Multicolour - Dark Demon releases his big-ass laser of doom!

Before he attack, you can choose which head to use out of four circling ones. The hammer head does the most damage to DD, but it doesn't help you avoid most of his attacks, whereas the mini head is practically safe, apart from when he summons those flying enemies. Also, the mini head is the ONLY way to avoid his big ass laser attack, any other head, and you're gonna take damage. Also, his attacks are completely random (one time he did nothing but summon flying enemies at me!) So I would say stick to the mini and hammer heads, but only uset he hammer head when you know the mini head won't be of use, or you think you can score a cheap shot at DD before he disappears.

After beating Dark Demon, you get to sit through one of the longest credit sequences ever, and, if you're lucky enough to have gotten all four digits from the mini-game (which I didn't sadly,) then you can face the secret boss, which really isn't anything special.

  • @retrogamer96 I believe I was between 10 and 12 when I beat this game. Funnily enough I kinda suck at it now after all these years (I'm 22 now). Who knows how i beat it back then. Must have purely been an obsession. Kudos on doing it though, i remember it taking me a long time - the bosses for level 7 and 8 (the robot and 'twin freaks' respectively) made me very, very angry. I remember that well.

  • I actually beat this a few days ago on the V.C in one sitting. Tough game, I had to get and use most of my continues, but I did it!

BTW I'm 12. I wonder if I'm the youngest to beat this game.
