Revisit the cost and time saving benefits of buying items on sale, prepping and portioning for future use. Works out to about $1.50 per meal for the round steak which is presliced and tenderized. Hope these tips make stir frying easier for all my channel viewers. Keep watching and practicing and keep the feedback coming as I find all comments interesting and valuable!

  • Hi Jui, Why yuu need to add the corn starch ?

couldn't you just add it before cooking it

    Thanks

  • @curvenut The cornstarch is used along with the other ingredients to tenderize and give the beef a smooth texture and helps the flavour of the sauce stick to the beef. The cornstarch added to the stir fry is used to thicken the sauce itself. Thanks for the question and I hope I have clarified things for you.

  • Thanks for the positive comments!

  • wow! here its almost 10$ for 1/2 pound

  • That's insane! Round steak is probably the cheapest steak and doesn't have very much marbling so hence the need to tenderize. It is funny how different countries have such differences in cost of goods and cost of living. I guess I don't want to know how much a good ribeye steak costs over there, huh? Thanks for watching Natt and keep me posted on your progress!

  • just what i was looking for, great vid

  • Great video. I'm inspired.

  • Yes its very insane, but with a few basic tenderizing techniques + cutting meat across the grain it should be no problem.

I always try to go for firm, cherry red steaks with marbling.

If sales of my soon to come new e-book will be a success maybe i won't have to look so much at the price.

  • Great video Mr. Chin
