Yeah it's true. For example: The company "Niveau" sells products in Asia wich make skin whiter, but here in Germany they sell products wich make skin more brown. This is so ironic!

And I don't realy undersand that, because I like my white skin and don't have any problem with it.

I'm more attracted to dark skin East Asian and Southeast Asian women. Dark skin women are beautiful. Pale skin whites and Asians look like they are sick with cancer.

This is an old and ancient thing we have in asia dating back to time before BC, you are considered wealthier if you have pale skin as that means you don't need to work in the fields

lighter skin is the focus of beauty because it signifies class/social status in many Asian countries. JApan doesn't really have a peasant pollution, but China does. You don't want to be a peasant right? Then you shouldn't have tanned skin. Ts as simple as that really. Lighter skin means you live more comfortably, and stay indoors more often, therefore you're wealthy. Westerners tend to not understand this basic concept because Western way of discrimination is on race &class

In the US Nivea has been trying to market to African Americans. A lot of black folks got very offended. Walmart still insist on putting skin whitening cream in the African-American section of skin care/health section. I think its straight up offensive, and I hope black people aren't doing this, but I bet they are. I prefer darker skin. I love my melanin.
