  • You're raster images still look like a logo "before" doing anything. Do you have a demonstration of how to do the same with an actual image? I can send you a copy of what I am trying to convert; its a self portrait I'd like to make a logo & resize to suit biz card, stationary etc. Thx AJ

  • Hey - sorry, it CAN be done with clipart and other original vector files. This video was made for other photographers who tend to give me files in JPG. There's really no way it can be done with a raster-type image such as a photograph, however - at least not with any great success. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Feel free to respond or email me with a file you are working on.

    In adobe Illusrator:

    object>Live Trace>Tracing Options>Adjust Mode: Color>Adjust number of colors>Trace.
