  • I used my cricut cake for the first time today. I was having problems with where to put the blade for my second set of cuts....I watched your video..and I think I got it!! Thanks I will try it again tomorrow....PS I used fondant for mine...need to add tylose powder to make it more pliable..it would tear when I was pulling it off the sheet...next time I will add the powder. xo

  • @GirlArmy21 Yay I hope you are enjoying it :) ! You can hit load last and that will move your blade up to the next spot on your mat ! Thanks for watching :) !!!

  • I agree that it was nice to see the machine demonstrated in a very real way - not pretending that everything comes out perfect first time every time. I haven't had my Cricut Cake very long and have only played with it a little bit, but your video gives me a little more confidence to use it (I'm kind of a big old chicken with it, lol)

  • @carnold2008 Hi thank you ! I am one unedited chick lol ! I dont do much editing so what you see is what you get ! You will do wonderful !! I would suggest you making your own fondant or getting the stuff in the tub ! Because oh my gosh how yucky those fondant sheets are lol ! TFW !

  • this is precious. "You take and set it" lol. What was that "you're gonna be able to" or whatever it was? Very cute - I'll bet you could make 10x as many better decorations by hand, and do it faster than cutting out one of those. With your hands and a sharp tool you can use any thickness and work in 3 dimensions.

  • u prefer using thinned fondant or gumpaste...??? Please reply.. i jujst bought it today and planngin to play with it all wkend.. have a cake due next week.. please reply
