At the Fox News GOP presidential debate, a correspondent asked a New Hampshire woman if she supported a constitutional ammendment banning gay marriage. She firmly replied, "absolutely not." The correspondent then asked Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS) if he believes there should be a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriages. He answered yes and the audience responded with boos.

  • I always enjoy listening to conservatives explain why they oppose gay marriage. Given the seriousness with which they take the issue, and their campaign for a constitutional amendment, you'd think they would have come up with some compelling reasons by now. Brownback is mad as a hatter. His argument is absurd to the point of comedy.

  • @neilpiano Even children.

  • Yay, I loves me some family values.

When did we all start assuming that every family is homophobic? Granted, mine is, but polls repeatedly show that most are not.

I think we ought to be reclaiming the term 'family values' from the bigots who've perverted it.

  • No wonder none of these guys made it through.-
