I don't know if they ran this more than once but if I saw this on it's first run, I was only 8 years old. The movie made a huge impact on me and have long wanted to see this again.

This short clip is from one of the best films I ever saw. Oscar winner Carney is superb as the neighbor of a Michigan farmer who's dairy herd has been exposed to contaminated feed. Equally good is the gritty performance of Ron Howard, with all traces of his Happy Days persona removed. The documentary feeling, appropriate to the telling of a true story, makes the ending simply horrific. Kids and sensitive types ought to be prepared.
Twentyfive years haven't dulled the impact.

You should be able to search and find the entire film now (in 11 parts) on youtube.
