@bdavid1986 This song is from 1985 and she is born in 1960, so I guess she was 25 or almost 25.

How old was Amy Grant in this video?

LOL christ I was in first grade when I heard this, I am a guy but was hummming it because it was the last song I had heard that day, my girl cousin was laughing at me, I told her I was not and to shut up.

@Superbook4Eva Fred Phelps is just plain evil. All of Westboro Baptist Church are horrible. Check on Youtube to see what WBC does at the funerals of Vets.

I was in rehab in 1988 ~ quite the experience I must say ~ alcohol lowered my lithium level and gave way to paranoia ~ they pumped me full of drugs ~ LOL I made crafts and learned to play ping pong ~ it was a private hospital so the food was fabulous ~ just fabulous. I had two cassettes - this one and one I can't recall. I listened to this song and maybe an......it just came to me - the Special Olympics Christmas with Whitney Houston "Do you hear what I hear" .....

@StarX81 This song came out in 1985. VH1 began in 1989.

This reached #29 Pop, #7 Adult Contemporary in Billboard. Amy looks so YOUNG in this video... she was only 24 at the time. She was beautiful then, and still is beautiful today at the age of 50.
About Amy's being a maverick in the Christian music industry - again I say, good for her. I have heard she is also supportive of gay rights (and she has very many gay and lesbian fans, particularly gay men). I think she has shown the love of Christ much better than a Pat Robertson or Fred Phelps.

Thank you Amy for sharing your faith in the Lord through your music. I love the part at 2:20 where it goes "If our God His Son not sparing came to rescue you, is there any circumstance that He cant see you through?" This song made it on the secular radio back in the 80s. Its harder for a Christian artist to do that now.
