I always wear fake tips/ fake nails to hide my clubbed thumbs. Do you have any advice for me? its well needed, people around me would be soo judgmental if i exposed my nails for what they are like.

One of my best friends commented on my thumbs the other day, saying that they were weird and stuff, but I know she didn't say it to hurt me, some people just don't think before they speak, so you shouldn't let what people say bring you down! :) If a friend is really judgemental and is being nasty about them, then they aren't a real friend. I'm sure your boyfriend loves you for YOU and will love your thumbs, as they are part of you :)

Hey, im from england too so thats great, and I have clubbed thumbs too, yours look slightly different to mine though cuz mine are very arched but hayho, yeah my mum has known me for 16 years and only just noticed my thumbs, I was so angry, but yeah they are a pain in the arse cuz I cant do stuff like bowling or use scissors ok, is there anything your thumbs stop you from doing?

@CozmetGirl I can't do bowling hahaa :D I'm so glad I'm not the only one! :P My thumb got stuck in a keyring at work and I was trying to give the key to someone! I can't wear rings on them or have false nails. I went to the Clothes show a few years ago and they had a nail bit so I sat down excited to get my nails done because I had never had them done before, and the lady looked at my thumb and said she couldn't do them!

So you have different thumbs, not odd, not weird, not strange, not freaky, just different. It's stupid for people to make fun of them; they may as well make fun of noses for being different, or ears, chins, lips and so on.

I'm certain everyone who makes fun of clubbed thumbs has something they're self-conscious about.

It's just what makes us human, and there's absolutely no shame in that. (:

I have clubbed thumbs and before discovering what they were, I thought there was something wrong with me, but now I know that it's not so strange. Although it can be annoying trying to use certain things such as scissors and things. But if anyone else has these thumbs then thumbs up to us!! ;)

I'm now 13, but people dont say that to me, they say; sumtimes: ' they cool.'

sum people sayihave cancer in my thumb, haha, but they joking, that was 1 child.

buts it cools to have them:).

I am 47 and have two clubbed thumbs. I hated them so much when I was a child, I used to try to smash them with hammers to make them straight. The point was though, that I never would have thought about them at all if other kids at school hadn't made such a daily routine of pulling at my hands to look at my thumbs and jeering at me and calling me an ugly freak. Other people can be so stupid and cruel.
