"La Koloroj": A quick video and study of the colors in Esperanto! Easperanto is an easy YouTube course on the international auxiliary language, Esperanto.
--
Saluton! Welcome back to Easperanto, the easy Esperanto YouTube course.
Today, we will be learning all about la koloroj, the colors, in Esperanto. Once you know the basic colors, like those out of a crayon box, you can enhance your descriptions of things in Esperanto. You have to know the colors to know the language--so learn from this quick video.
ruĝa - red
oranĝkolora - orange
flava - yellow
verda - green
blua - blue
violkolora - violet
purpura - purple
rozkolora - pink
blanka - white
griza - grey
nigra - black
bruna - brown
That covers the basic colors. Try repeating them aloud--the pronunciations may be tricky at first, but they will soon become easier. Soon enough, you will be able to remember, pronounce, and write all of the colors. Let's go over them again.
[colors]
Now you try! Speaking yourself is the most important part of learning a language. Try saying the word aloud as the color comes up. If you don't remember the words yet, which is actually very likely, go back in the video where they are pronounced and spelled.
[colors]
Great job! With a good knowledge of the color spectrum in esperanto, you are well on your way to describing things more effectively. For instance, here is la orikteropo bruna, the brown aardvark, Arthur.
The colors in Esperanto are fun to learn--so get to it, and soon enough you will be able to go anywhere and describe the colors around you.
Estus inde refari la videon, vi misprononcas vorton "kolora" kiel "korora". Kaj la ghon vi prononcas kiel jhon... certe vi nune prononcas pli bone.

When you said "koloroj" at the beginning I think you stressed the ultimate, and not the penultimate syllable. Kinda threw me off.
