  • Still waiting for the second version where all the white keys get broken off at 0:50

  • @thermalmaximum lol. Why they should break off?

  • just awesome! I'm hoping that I could buy one of those red beasts one day :P

  • Yes, I wanted it for 3 years, since the first time I saw it, but it was too expensive (I'm a 19 years old student)... finally I found a second-hand G2x (1500 €) and I thought: I can't let it go!! ;P

  • This one is digitally modular because you can do all the things you could do with real modular synth... but this time it's in software..

  • my hand cramped watching this video

  • nice fingers

  • Take a better look :) This is that one synth... just connect it to your computer and patch off... ;)

  • re key action: G2x is semi weighted, decent spring, not as stiff as Virus, but feels nice. I slightly prefer latest Virus TI action. Standard G2 is different keys; I'm told it's lighter action. I think it would be similar to a Lead.

re modularity; synth engine is DSP based. DSP models are comprised of software modules. It is a virtual modular. You patch it just like a real modular, but in the editor program. The patches are loaded/stored on the synth. All sound is made by the onboard DSPs.

  • hows the action on the NG2? like the NL2?

  • ah, cool

  • Modular, meaning its in pieces, oyu can swap the filter for another kind, add, remove oscilators, add remove modulations.

    Modules, swapable or just removable.

The digital one, is just chips generating a sound, depending on what you bought.

  • ah ok. What's the difference though?
