Some lady crashes her truck. Even though it's minor it's very stupid. Possible cause: cell phone.

well , my view is that the corner does not have a 'no turn on red' sign and the truck just expected the car to go ahead and turn because the traffic was open. the truck driver must have been looking for any on-coming traffic from the left and just expected what never happened, and that was for the car in front to go. oh well, crap happens, huh?

HA!! ive done that pulling out of a gas station before in my civic. i had NO idea there was someone in front of me. no idea at all. i never hit the brakes. the car came to an abrubt stop, and i looked at my rear view mirror wondering why i had just drilled it with my face. didnt feel good. the guy i hit thought someone drove me into him. i told him the truth, and he wasnt too mad. surprising seeing as his CRV had to be towed off with a bent rear control arm. i drove my car away.

@LA7Dance No were not we are just number one i road rage drivers but not the worst at driving no, no way. And what you might be thinking of is all the foreigners that come from other countries and other parts of the United States and they come over here with their horrible ways of driving. I seen it. but true Californians NO!

like why are people always so quick to turn, he was looking to see if there was a car and there probably was but he thought it was far enough back for him to turn and he thought that everyone drives stupidly like him and that the car in front was gonna go as well but the car in front was playing it safe and than jackass just starts zooming out without looking in front to see if just maybe just maybe the car in front was not gonna go. stupid driver that always happens to me on the road..

Car in front waiting to turn right, gap comes and then proceeds forward, fails to take gap.
Truck driver sees car move forward and proceeds to check left for traffic, sees none and continues forward never sees car in front stop.
Stupid mistake. Always remember to check both directions even in a turning lane. You never know what could be there: cars, pedestrians, etc.
