  • Amadeus i think is one of the best movie ever made

  • What I liked was how Sir Laurene apparently forgot to run the list of Best Picture nominees by before announcing Amadeus being the winner.

  • Amadeus was great Film and deserved an academy award for Best Picture.

  • Amadeus was great film.

  • @88mphsss ... yes he did acknowledge all the remaining four films (3:40): The Killing Fields, A Passage to India, Places in the Heart and A Soldier's Story

  • I saw Mozart at 3:33 :P

  • Olivier has no time for bullcrap ;)

  • @88mphsss Yes. The same think happened again 10 years later - Paul Newman forgot to read the nominees for best cinematography - winner John Toll mentioned them all in his speech.

  • Probably the best picture ever made. Truly amazing.

  • He just wanted to get it over with because it's past his bedtime! LOL!

  • If I was the producer at that ceremony, I would probably be struggling a little! You have all the clips ready and then suddenly Olivier just completely skips them all. Ah well, at least he was right. Love this movie so much!
