@AnthonyJDBurns I have looked and looked and looked and asked vid stores where I can get the original 1984 done in the late 50s/early 60s and nobody has an answer for me. The one done in the mid 80s sucked big time!

Of course they do! You couldn't have anyone who wasn't a league member in pornosec. They'd get ideas about sexcrime. Got to be the most goodthinkful sort to get that sort of job.

Magnificent performances abound, and when you consider that it was performed live, it goes beyond magnificence. Donald Pleasance is indeed fantastic, and Nigel Kneale's additions to the text are perfectly appropriate. Better than the 1984 film version, and why the hell isn't it on DVD, I'd like to know...
